
Lots of people will be taking edge of the further working day off on July 1st to get out in the community. There is a good deal of issues to do, but the staff members at the Kelowna Art Gallery are inviting yhr general public to kick their lengthy weekend off with a healthier dose of creative imagination.
“We really like viewing persons of all ages and talent degrees expressing by themselves by art,” suggests Sumi Ali, Education and learning Coordinator at the Kelowna Artwork Gallery. “Plus, we know small children like points they can wave close to, so this yr we’ll be producing mother nature-motivated wind streamers.”
The gallery will have “creation stations” established up about the constructing. All elements will be equipped, such as markers, construction paper, ribbons, scissors, and glue.
readers will also have a opportunity to explore the displays free of charge, including the vastly well known ‘From Warhol to Banksy.’
In the group exhibition area, in excess of 100 local pupils have produced artwork to the topic U·nique which is on show.
The gallery also has an exhibit from organic sculptor Annabel Stanley who the galler suggests would like readers to contact the artwork in her open-air courtyard set up.
