   In response to our “Inspiration Shut at Hand” simply call for paintings produced in artists’ gardens or other individual spaces, we been given these 5 illustrations or photos from artist, George Van Hook. While inspiration can be identified significantly and large, quite a few of us have identified “diamonds in have backyard”, especially throughout the confinement of the pandemic. There can be terrific inventive positive aspects to painting a much more intimate and private globe in the course of the changes of light and period.

   George wrote to us, “I ordinarily spend a great part of the summer months portray the determine in the many beautiful flower gardens that encircle our home in Upstate New York. We’ve lived right here for practically 30-five several years, and from the incredibly starting it was our intention to make the bordering landscape a haven  for painting. That, coupled with the delightful presence of our individual 3 daughters, and with their numerous friends, intended that I would hardly ever absence for subjects or designs!
